Mastering
is the final step of the recording process. It's the process of
polishing or “fine-tuning” done prior to transferring
stereo audio tracks to a medium, such as Compact Disc (CD), MP3
files or a digital storage medium, such
as a hard drive.
The
mastering process (executed to Redbook Standards) assures that your
final product will be well balanced & sound
good on all audio systems, or commercial ready and ready
for airplay on the radio or as a streaming audio file for the
Internet.
