Mastering is the final step of the recording process. It's the process of polishing or “fine-tuning” done prior to transferring stereo audio tracks to a medium, such as Compact Disc (CD), MP3 files or a digital storage medium, such as a hard drive.

The mastering process (executed to Redbook Standards) assures that your final product will be well balanced & sound good on all audio systems, or commercial ready and ready for airplay on the radio or as a streaming audio file for the Internet.

Pine Road recording also features Analog Conversion and Restoration of older recordings. We have the expertise to bring your old archive tapes alive once more -- enhancing the original master, fixing sound glitches (pops and hisses, etc.) editing mistakes, upgrading the sound through filters and digital effects and/or simply converting the files from analog to digital in order to burn CDs or make MP3s.
